The Pepsi Challenge Cup Cross Country Ski Race!

The 37th Annual Pepsi Challenge Cup Race will be held March 6, 2021 at Giants Ridge Golf and Ski Resort™ in Biwabik. Giants Ridge has a world class reputation for its race trails and snow grooming. The Ridge has held the World Cup, Olympic Trials, National Collegiate Finals and U. S. National Championships. The Pepsi Challenge Cup is a 50K freestyle race on the world class Nordic Trail System. There are four companion races: Pepsi Challenge 50K Classic, Great River Energy Rush 25K Freestyle, Great River Energy Rush 25K Classic, and Giants Ridge 8K. There is a race to accommodate skiers at every level. The Pepsi Challenge Cup Race is part of the American Ski Marathon Series and serves as a Birkie Qualifier.

    WE ARE STILL HERE ACTIVELY PLANNING OUR 2021 EVENTS TO COMPLY WITH PUBLIC HEALTH REQUIREMENTS AS A RESULT OF THE PANDEMIC!

    WE ANTICIPATE HOLDING TOTAL ENTRANTS TO 250, HAVE LIMITED WAVE WIRE STARTS WITH LIMITED CONTACT AND A MINIMUM OF VOLUNTEERS.

    FORTUNATELY, WE ALL HAD GOOD FUN LAST YEAR MOMENTS BEFORE THE QUARANTINE! WE'LL DO IT AGAIN IN A SAFE, FUN WAY! STAY TUNED FOR UPDATES.



    Pepsi Challenge 2021 Registration:

    You can register online There is a service charge to use the online registration service. Otherwise, you can download and print a Mail-in Registration Form or sent to you via email. Online Registration cut-off date is March 4, 2021 at midnight.

    *Youth rate 13 - 21 yr olds 25K race & 16 to 21 yr olds in the 50K = $70.00 - no price increases.

    Please make sure when you are registering on-line to look for the youth rate for the $70.00 value.
